The sleek new design and advanced technology got some coverage over at Motoring.com. Meanwhile, the X-Class Ute by Mercedes-Benz is still gaining hype with GQ giving it some love.
Powershop’s CEO, Ed McManus has had a busy few months, beginning with his feature in The Huffington Post, where he shared his vision for Australia’s coal- free future. Ed also spoke at the 2017 AFR Innovation Summit, where he challenged government intervention and the current policy instability within the energy industry. Ed also commented on the affordability of solar and wind farms and was featured in the Australian Financial Review, while Powershop's 'Curb Your Power' demand response program was featured in 7 News Melbourne and the Sydney Morning Herald.
Ed also took the stage in front of 1000 plus people at the TEDx Melbourne convention in September. With a theme of ‘Rebels, Revolutionaries and Us’, Ed pushed us to think beyond the coal industry and imagine an Australia powered by solar and wind - you can read our takeouts from the event here.
Elsewhere in tech, Touchpoint COO, Mark Thompson wrote a great feature for Inside Big Data on AI, SalesPreso co-founder Joel Thomson shared some advice with Marketing Mag on how to improve sales presentations, and Catapult continues its growth in Australia, acquiring two new athlete management systems from Brisbane rival SportsMed Elite and Baseline. As shared by The Herald Sun, the $1.9 million deal is set to put Catapult at the forefront of athlete management in Australia. HealthKit were also recognised for their $2.5 million raise in The Australian Financial Review.
